Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Dragonscale Labs LLC (“Dragonscale,” “Breve,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you download, install, or use the Breve mobile application for iOS (the “App”). Breve is a brand of Dragonscale Labs LLC.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you choose to provide it, your name. We use this information to create your account, authenticate you, and communicate with you about the service.

Content you provide

The App is built around assessments and conversations you initiate. When you ask Breve a question, describe a workflow, or submit notes, files, or other content (“User Content”), we process and store that content so that we can generate responses, save your history, and improve your experience over time.

Usage analytics and diagnostics

We collect anonymous information about how the App is used, such as features accessed, session length, in-app navigation, performance metrics, and crash logs. This information helps us understand problems, fix bugs, and improve the App.

Subscription information

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. We receive limited information from Apple necessary to verify your subscription status, such as a receipt or transaction identifier.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the App;
  • To generate responses to your assessments and conversations using third-party AI providers;
  • To manage your account, subscription, and trial status;
  • To respond to support requests and communicate with you;
  • To monitor and improve the App, including diagnosing issues and developing new features;
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms of Service;
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. AI processing and third parties

Breve uses third-party AI model providers to generate responses to your assessments. To do this, the contents of your prompts and relevant context from your User Content are sent to those providers on your behalf. These providers are contractually restricted from using your content to train their models for the benefit of other customers.

We also rely on infrastructure, analytics, error-tracking, and email-delivery providers that process limited information on our behalf. These providers are bound by contractual obligations to handle your information consistent with this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your User Content with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes.

4. Data retention

We retain your account information and User Content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. You can delete individual conversations and assessments from within the App. If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

5. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@breve.ai. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

You can disable or limit certain device permissions (such as notifications) at any time in your iPhone Settings.

6. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest where appropriate, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@breve.ai.

8. International users

Breve is operated from the United States. If you use the App from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice within the App or by email, and we will update the Effective Date above. Your continued use of the App after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
